K-Drama Reviews: 20 Years Old, The Greatest Love, Unemployed Romance

I have a lot on my plate.
Literally. I’ve been eating so much lately //sighs heavily
Also school is getting more and more tring every day which is why I haven’t been online that much these days. Sorry ~~
But I want to make up for it!! The past few weeks when I wasn’t studying, I’ve been watching some dramas which I am going to talk about now. I am not going to do the “full super long reviews” I usually do, though. I don’t really think that’s necessary.
Twenty Years Old/20’s ~ 스무살
Okay. Guys. GUYS!! I stumbled across this drama by accident when I was watching something else on viki and ohMYGOD ITS LEE KI KWANG FROM BEAST!! Why didn’t anyone tell me about this drama????
So yeah,.. that was a nice surprise…
The story is about KiKwang who meets his childhood-friend Kim HyeRim again and then they start dating secretly. Of course trouble follows when people find out etc etc etc.
Overall 8/10
This drama was really enjoyable and I have to say I absolutely adored the camera work which was outstandingly well done, Chapeau!
Since this drama has only 4 episodes, there is no real climax or, let’s say, “dramatic highlight”, which is why it just reached 8 points on my scale. I would still say it’s a must watch for any drama-fan because
HIS LIPS!!!!!!!! I CAN’T //DYING WHALE NOISE MY THIRST IS REAL!!
The Greatest Love ~ 최고의 사랑
Gu Ae Jung used to be a popular member of a girl band but lost all her fame and even gets blamed after the band broke up. Coincidentally she meets top star Dok Ko Jin and yes, they fall in love. Of course there is a lot of drama; they don’t admit their feelings at first, love triangle, mean bitch who hates the female lead and so on, and so on.
Overall 8.5/10
Soooo good! I laughed SO much while watching this drama, I love it!! Definitely a must-see. I decided to watch it because I enjoyed seeing Gong HyoJin in Master’s Sun and just..BEST DECISION EVER!! I think the plot was not that creative but still very entertaining so go! Go and watch it!
And maybe that’s just me, but KoJin would be a perfect fit for Kogoro Mouri from Detective Conan, right? I’m just saying…
Unemployed Romance ~ 실업급여 로맨스
"Unemployed Romance" is about the reunion between Seung-Hee and her first love Jong-Dae. Seung-Hee, who dreams of being a star writer but is only a salary writer for a third-class program, and Jong-dae, a temporary public worker in the department of unemployment benefits. (credit)
Overall 6/10
This drama has 10 episodes and I have to admit I only went to see it because I am currently watching I Need Romance 3 and I am so in love with Nam GoongMin asfjkldsja
The story was a little slow and boring to be honest, but I did finish it so I guess it wasn’t that bad after all. To be fair, I should mention that it really had some super cute scenes in it and I also liked the development of the plot.
